WE ARE STRONG, WE ARE KWANTLEN
Kwantlen First Nation is located on the cusp of two of the Halkomelem dialects;
the Up-river dialect of Halq’eméylem and the Down-river dialect of hǝn̓q̓ǝmin̓ǝm̓.
Our community honours and embraces both dialects and recognize the importance they have on our identity, as well as the impacts our language revitalization effort has on our culture, traditions and future generations.
